Nebo College and Career Center is excited to announce an upcoming Career Night for students (8th-12th grade) and parents. Please join the ALC and MTECH staff as we: 'Explore the possibilities, Discover possible careers, promising jobs, and earning potential associated with 'Culinary Arts, Cosmetology Fields & Computer/Technology Fields'. (More details below) This event will be held at the ALC, 161 E 400 N. Salem, on Monday, 2/24/2025 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. At 7:10 p.m. - 7:30 p.m., we will host a Scholarships 101 workshop for 10th-12th graders and their parents, this is a repeat of previous sessions. Getting ready for college can be a daunting task, but with the right preparation, you can set yourself up for success. Here are some key steps to consider:
Academic Planning: Focus on maintaining a strong GPA and taking challenging courses. Consider enrolling in CE (Concurrent Enrollment) or Advanced Placement (AP) classes.
Scholarships and Grants: Research and apply for scholarships and grants. Websites like Fastweb can help you find opportunities.

This momentous occasion was celebrated with an opening event attended by the Nebo School District College and Career Readiness Committee, whose vision and efforts have been crucial in bringing this project to fruition.

Invest Nest is a Shark Tank-style business pitch competition open to all high school students in the Nebo School District. Invest Nest’s mission is to "Awaken the entrepreneurial spirit of the youth," encouraging students to create and develop their own innovative business ideas and present them to a panel of expert judges. Explore Career Possibilities with ALC and UVU! We are excited to invite you to join the ALC and UVU as we explore a variety of career opportunities in Computer Science, Information Systems and Digital Media on Monday, January 27, 2025 at the ALC!!

Mr. Ford's business students recently had the unique opportunity to visit the Adobe Headquarters in Lehi, an experience that expanded their horizons and inspired creativity. This trip was not just a tour but an immersive journey into the world of digital innovation, offering insights into how technology is reshaping industries.




We had a fantastic turnout for our Career Night last evening! We were thrilled to feature the Business, Automotive, Aviation, Construction, and Collision Repair classes. The event was a great success, offering insightful information and showcasing the diverse career paths available to our students.

Our ALC Medical Forensics students have jumped right into learning and have been incredibly busy these past few weeks. It is always a pleasure to walk around the halls and witness the students deeply engaged in their studies.
